NovaGuard

The upgrade of NovaGuard involves the upgrade of the NovaGuard manager or NovaGuard agent to a new version and the update of the service packs, antivirus database, and vulnerability database.

We recommend that you go to System - System - Deployment and Upgrade and enable P2P upgrade, as shown in the following figure.

This feature avoids single-channel file download from the NovaGuard manager only, which causes slow installation and upgrade and excessive bandwidth usage.

Note:

1. P2P deployment is not supported in scenarios where the NovaGuard manager is exposed

to the Internet through port mapping.

2. P2P upgrade is supported for NovaGuard Windows agent installation, NovaGuard agent

upgrade, and antivirus database update.
